TOPIC:
Game of Clones: Tips, Design, Delivery
LECTURE SYNOPSIS:
Composite resin used artistically with dialled-in occlusion allows placement in areas of application never dreamt possible. Learn how to push the limits using these modern supercomposites in a step-by-step, design-guided manner. Understand the proper way to prepare enamel and dentin surfaces for maximal bond strength using modern agents. Are they all created equal? Zirconia - is it a panacea, and how the heck do we bond this?
Learning Outcomes:
- The attendee will learn tips and tricks to generate success with large-dose anterior composite aesthetic reconstructions.
- The attendee will learn an updated C-Factor strategy to decrease stress in large posterior composite restorations.
- The attendee will learn how to prepare enamel and dentin as individual substrates for maximal bond strength from both a micro mechanical and chemical aspect.
- The attendee will explore the various types of zirconia and review the ideal cementation protocol for maximal bond strength.
- The attendee will be guided through the “what with”, “where” and “how” for posterior and anterior maverick tint placement in naturomimetic composite restorations.
